Koderma elections.....Marandi wins

Koderma elections that were held on the 6th November, 2006 has come out with results. As per the election for koderma lok sabha news Babulal Marandi (in the picture) of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Democractic), won the race by nearly 2,00,000 votes. The runner up was Sri Manoj Yadav (Congress) and the third position went to Pranav Verma (BJP).

And as per the news the supporter of Babulal Marandi held a great road show in the evening in koderma district.

It was time for sorrow...

As soon as we came to know about the sad demise of the greatest guru Shri Bharat Sagar Ji Maharaj, the entire Koderma jain samaj went into deep sorrow. It was around 1:00pm on the day of the holy diwali (26th, oct, 2006) that this incident happen.

For the nobel cause, the entire jain society had a baithak on the same day and on the same evening had a Namokar Mantra sabha for around 45 minutes to send peace to the great soul that passed.

To soothe this dismissal further, the jain samaj decided to spend their diwali with the minimum possible lighting and minimum possible crackers. An official notice for the same was published to all the members of the jain samaj and it was followed with great support.

Shri Sumer Ji Papdiwal passes away

Koderma lost another gem today when we came to know that Shri Sumer Ji Papdiwal passed away last week due to heart failure.

In his last days, he was staying at his sister's house at Gwalior, Rajasthan. He was around 65 years old.

We wish him peace in the heaven.
